Floating Shelves, with invisible hardware
The floating shelves I make and install I always do with completely invisible brackets. I make the brackets myself and they become very durable. These are screwed straight into the studs behind the wall or alternatively inserted into concrete or brick with a chemical bond. They will withstand approximately up to 80-150+kg depending on the size of the shelf, which is very durable for its thin size.
You could also a order a shelf to install yourself. Then i will prepare the shelf for you to install with a pair of hidden brackets depending of the type of wall you are going to install it on. These are installed with screws into any available wall (studs, plasterboard or concrete)
The shelves can be ordered in 18mm or 27mm thickness.
Price is for a shelf made of pine with following measurements 18mm x 2000mm x 200mm, Installment included in Uppsala Area.
Shelves can be ordered with or without stain. All will be treated with hardwax oil.
