The floating shelves I make and set up I always do with completely invisible brackets. I make these brackets myself and they are very durable. These are screwed straight into the studs behind the wall or alternatively inserted into concrete or brick with a chemical bond. They will withstand approximately up to 100-150kg depending on the size of the shelf, which is very durable for its thin size.
